
Javea/Xàbia
Javea (Xàbia in Valenciano) has long been considered one of the jewels of the Costa Blanca. An oasis of natural beauty that stretches along some 25 kilometers of stunning coastline and nestles beneath the impressive mountain of El Montgó, which rises more than 750m and protects the town from the fierce north winds of winter.
The World Health Organization of the United Nations once stated that Javea's microclimate can be considered to be near perfect and therefore one of the healthiest in the world.
Average daily highs hover around 30°C in July and August and rarely drop below 16°C in winter, while the city basks in an average of 320 days of sunshine a year – perfect for a holiday any time of the year. Der Strand Muntanyar/Benissero ist etwa 2,5 Kilometer lang und ist von einer Promenade gesäumt, die zum Flanieren und Joggen einlädt.
Muntanyar/Benissero ist ein naturbelassener Strand, ideal für Naturliebhaber und Wassersportmöglichkeiten wie Windsurfen, Kitesurfen und Stand-up-Paddeln.
Der Strand ist weniger belebt als der Arenal-Strand und bietet somit mehr Platz zum Entspannen und Sonnenbaden. Es gibt auch einen FKK-Bereich am südlichen Ende des Strandes für diejenigen, die gerne nackt baden möchten.
